September Sunrise - Blackhill towards the Sutors, Scottish Highlands
It's that time of year again when the dark nights are drawing in and sunrise is getting later and later. At this time of year, I'm up and about early before I head of to the day job. This is the first of this year's sunrise photos. The photo was taken on 07 Sep 2023 at 06:30 when the sun was rising over the horizon. I took this from behind my home on Blackhill, and looking towards the Cromarty and Moray Firths. The shot captures North Sutor, Cromarty, The Black Isle, Nigg and if you look very closely you can just about spot the Cromarty Lighthouse.
