Handa Island Beach - Has He Really Come to Take Us Back? !

This is a photo taken at the stunning Handa Island Beach on Saturday 21 May 2022.

I had just had a hike around the island and the cliffs, looking at the wonderful scenery and the variety of seabirds.

So, I found a spot to drop my rucksack, open the sandwiches and flask, and just sit down and take in the beauty of the beach and that water!!

Alas, due to very choppy waters, the ferry (in the broadest sense of the word) came back early to get the visitors safely back to the mainland.

Well, there's always next time....
