The Lochan at Knockan, Scottish Highlands

This is a photo taken on New Years Eve 2021 in the Scottish Highlands.

I had left the house with the intention of reaching the far north west coast.

However, there was not even a hint of wind, and the reflections in each and every loch and lochan were too irresistible to pass up.

This particular photo was captured in the wee lochan in front of Knockan Crag, and captures Cul Mor, Cul Beag & Stac Pallaidh and a wee selection of the mountains of Assynt with a lovely low mist...
