An Icy Loch Mallachie, Cairngorm National Park

This is a photo of the wonderful little Loch Mallachie, situated in the Cairngorms, Scottish Highlands.

The photo was captured on a slippery (and very misty) hike around Loch Garten and Loch Mallachie on Saturday 18th December 2021.

The mist added so much to the atmosphere of the walk, but this photo was taken on one of the rare moments in which the mist lifted...
