Handa Island Beach, Scottish Highlands
This is a photo which I captured on the amazing nature reserve of Handa Island in the far north west of the Scottish Highlands. The reserve can be found near one of the most remote areas in Scotland, and is only accessible by the small boat which operates during the summer months. The quirky part of the trip is that the boat only leaves and returns when there are enough people to fill the 12 seat capacity. However, the island has an abundance of spectacle, white sanded beaches, turquoise water, wildlife and also some of the most impressive cliffs which I've ever seen. This photo was taken after arriving on the first boat out, and the light against the beautiful beach was a scene to make the jaw drop!
